Problematika dan Prospek Hubungan Antarumat Beragama di Indonesia Masa Orde Baru

The objective of this article is to reconstruct the political policies New Order government regarding inter-religious relations in Indonesia, particularly chiming with relationship between religious communities and during 1966-1998. method applied research historical steps, namely, source collection (heuristic), analysis (criticism), interpretation historiography). results study reveal that general period 1966-1998 took a two-way policy towards community, namely on one hand developing life rituals avoiding community from discourse. From policy, term “Tri Kerukunan” (Tri Harmony) emerges. which indicates tripartite adherents, internal communities, people, more dominated by discourse Muslims or state. At level ideological-political related relations, develops exclusive centralistic policies. Meanwhile, at socio-religious level, since beginning, has developed quite pluralist This tendency can be seen participation extra-state elements formulation. Thus format not merely but framed macro policies, especially fields politics ideology.
